About Us – Old

We do social science iteratively and efficiently.

NASA had it right in the mid-20th century—the first space traveller was Ham, the Astrochimp, rather than a human.  Because putting humans into space meant having to control for often unpredictable human behavior, a task with which no rocket scientist wanted to contend. That’s a job for a social scientist.

SoundRocket isn’t just who we are, it’s what we do.

SoundRockets (also known as Sounding Rockets) are used by NASA and other space research agencies around the world for sub-orbital research.  They allow for quick turnaround and are less costly while they advance science quickly and iteratively.

SoundRocket approaches our work in this same way—we do social science quickly, efficiently and iteratively.
